Director

Ana Mihajlov is a distinguished professional with over 15 years’ experience within the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility. During her professional career, she has successfully managed human resources and educational programmes, while constantly demonstrating high levels of expertise, integrity, and commitment.

On 31 July 2025, Mihajlov was appointed Acting Director of the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility, an institution in which she has continuously been working for the past 15 years. Throughout the years, she has been an active participant in the processes of European integration in the field of education, representing the interests of the Macedonian educational institutions in various European bodies and networks.

Previously, she successfully performed the functions of Head of the Department for Mobility in Vocational and School Education, as well as Head of the Human Resources Department, where she set new standards for internal efficiency, professional development, and organisational culture. Her management resulted in increased utilisation of European funds, as well as in expansion of the opportunities for international mobility of students, teachers, and institutions.

Ana Mihajlov holds a Master’s degree in Diplomacy and International Relations and is certified in Diplomatic Protocol. She is known for her leadership abilities, integrity, and strategic thinking, as well as her constant commitment to improving the quality, accessibility, and the European dimension of the educational programmes in the country.
