In the City Park in Skopje, on the occasion of Europe Day, the National Agency for European Educational Programmes and Mobility organized a unique event dedicated to children. Under the motto “Europe through the eyes of children”, peace, unity and cultural diversity were celebrated in Macedonia in a way adapted for the youngest.

The program included a performance of the Macedonian and European anthems by the children’s choir “Golden Nightingale”, a theater performance, a dance session, a performance by animators and three separate thematic zones: drawing European symbols, a quiz about Europe and a creative souvenir workshop. The children’s creations will be exhibited on the “Wall of Europe” in the premises of the National Agency.

The event, which was well attended and received a positive response from both young people and adults, stood out as the most beautiful celebration of Europe Day in all of Europe. In Macedonia, this day is experienced as a significant holiday, often with greater passion than in some EU member states.
